Privacy Policy

Overview

QRGlyph is designed from the ground up to minimize data collection. The content you encode in your QR codes is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. This policy explains what we do and do not collect, and how any collected information is used.

Information we do not collect

• The text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, or any other content you enter into the QR code generator. This data never leaves your browser.
• QR code images you generate or download. We do not store copies of your codes.
• Account or registration information. QRGlyph has no accounts.
• Payment information. The service is free.

Information that may be collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, our web server logs may record standard access information: the IP address that requested a page, the URL of the page requested, the date and time of the request, the HTTP status code returned, and the referring URL if one was sent by your browser. This information is used for server security monitoring and diagnosing technical errors. It is not used to build user profiles or for marketing purposes.

Advertising and cookies

QRGlyph may display advertising provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These networks may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads that are relevant to your interests, based on your browsing history on other websites. This is standard industry practice for ad-supported websites.

We do not control the cookies set by advertising providers. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or by using a browser extension that blocks third-party tracking. You can also use your browser's built-in cookie controls to limit or block cookies entirely.

Third-party services

QRGlyph uses Google Fonts to load typefaces. Google Fonts is served from Google's CDN, and Google may log the IP address of font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

No other third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) are currently used on this site.

Data retention

Server access logs, if retained, are kept for no more than 30 days and then deleted. No other user data is stored.

Children's privacy

QRGlyph is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of QRGlyph after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
