Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using QRGlyph, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the site.

Description of service

QRGlyph provides a free, browser-based QR code generation tool. The service allows users to create QR codes encoding various types of content, customize their appearance, and download them as image files. All processing occurs client-side in the user's browser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use QRGlyph to generate QR codes that:

  • Link to or encode content that is illegal under applicable law.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software.
  • Facilitate phishing, fraud, or identity theft.
  • Harass, stalk, or threaten specific individuals.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

Because QR code generation happens entirely in your browser and we do not receive or store the content you encode, enforcement of this policy depends on your good-faith compliance. We reserve the right to block access to the service for users who attempt to abuse it in ways that affect the service's infrastructure (such as automated scraping or denial-of-service attacks).

Intellectual property

The QRGlyph website, including its design, code, and written content, is owned by its operators. The QR code format itself is an open international standard (ISO/IEC 18004) and is not subject to proprietary restrictions.

QR codes you generate are yours. We make no claim to ownership of the codes themselves or the content you encode in them.

Disclaimer of warranties

QRGlyph is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that QR codes generated will be scannable by all devices or in all conditions. Use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QRGlyph and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of revenue, or business disruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to the service and terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
